The Field Was Packed at Indian Bayou Golf Course
Yesterday, Indian Bayou was the host club for the 10th One-Day FSGA event for this year in the Panhandle region. The field was packed with golfers from all over NWFL. Why? Because Indian Bayou is one of Northwest Florida’s finest courses and it lived up to its reputation; lush fairways and smooth, carpet-like greens. From the attentive staff to the new fleet of Club Car GPS equipped carts to the delicious fare in the grill room, no one was disappointed. Even Mother Nature cooperated with perfect weather and a couple of Ospreys floating over the lakes looking for lunch. This 18-hole Championship course is enjoyable and challenging for golfers of every skill level. Indian Bayou is Destin’s oldest golf course. Two, nine-hole courses, each have forgiving fairways, undulating greens, majestic pines and sparkling lakes. Try it; you will like it!
